Today I spent a lazy Saturday planning and creating my first case. Finally I had all the products I needed, as well as returning all the bits I would no longer use. I know have 600 gems (300 purple and 300 pink) for my own cases, 6 medium bows, 900 gems (300 brown, 300 black and 300 gold) for a friends case. I have also taken apart my old phone case to be able to use the flowers and large gems for other decorations.
I started by making a plan for my case on grease proof paper, this was blue taced to the inside of my case so I had a layout to follow. I then lay out all the gems, glue and equipment I would need and proceeded to make my first case. It took me the majority of the day to make just my case because I needed air from the smell of the glue, and to be able to rests my shoulders. The glue I am using had to be mixed in equal parts and would only last for four minutes, so I needed to be very prepared not to waste glue.

And ^^ is the final product. It's a little rough around the edges but for a first attempt I am happy with it.
