A Big Day Out
The new phone case and I are on our first trip to London together.
After making some last minute changes to the design of the first case I have finally finished the first case.
After the last blog post I decided that the case looked a little bare and decided to add some more gems to the case, I thought that by adding darker gems around the whole case it would make the whole design POP!
Unfortunately after covering a quarter of the case in black gems I decided it was too much, and preferred the more minimal design. The glue had only been drying for an hour so I attempted to take of the black gems, even though it was a struggle I was able to cut away the black gems without having an effect on the already glued down bow design. So now the case is down to its first design.
After leaving it to dry for 48 hours (the glue recommended 24 but I thought better safe than sorry) the case is now on my phone and the gems are staying strong! So far the case have traveled down to London with me and taken a few bumps when I dropped my phone in my car and forgot it was in my handbag when I dropped in to the floor with my laptop inside as well.
Even with these bumps the case is still perfectly in tact! And I am still very proud of it.
Today I am going to spend some design thinking of designs for my second case and a leopard print case for an i-phone. The leopard print case will be the first case which is all covered in gems, I will blog as I do this case as well because it will be the biggest challenge so far.

I would like to add titles to the sidebar so I can leave a space just for photos and where I can offer people the chance to recommend designs or link blogs/pictures of phone cases but I am struggling to figure out how, so help and advice would be much appreciated.
