At the weekend I went home to visit my family. Spending time with my mum and sister always results in shopping.
After a great day of bargain hunting we headed home and I realised I had put down one of my bags of shopping and not picked it back up. It was lost! The bag mostly contained my amazing charity shop finds a total of £10 for a dress and trousers, as well as a hat for my mum an additional £10 (not from a charity shop).
I retraced my steps and have asked in the shops where I was last in and have concluded I must have put it down in the post office when sending a parcel. After a few unhelpful conversations and attempted telephone calls the bag (and goodies) are still lost.
*Touch wood* I don't lose things so this is feeling like a big blow at the moment. So I am desperately trying to find the silver lining in this situation; £10 has been given to charity. It feels like a small thing to be getting so caught up in, but I pride myself on being frugal and being a bargain hunter (and I had already started mentally drafting the blog post about my finds) so it feels like a big loss.
Losing things suck. That is all.
