A Lace Moment

A few days ago I went into town to meet a friend for lunch, he took me to a haberdashery where he was looking for apart of his Halloween costume. The haberdashery was tucked away and if you weren't looking for it you could easily walk past it.

In this little shop I bought two different types of lace, I originally had the idea to use lace from seeing Kris Kardashian's Chanel case, with a big blow backed onto lace. I had been looking for some lace to experiment with but being too picky I never found anything I was happy with. But for 92p I bought 1m of: 

And for another 92p I bought 1m of:

I played around with the lace trying to make a pattern for a phone I was happy with, it was easy to overload the case and difficult to find a placement for the lace without having to cut around the camera or speaker. After quite a few dry runs playing with the lace I used double sided carpet tape (long story, see Halloween DIY post) and had ago. I started with applying one piece of white lace vertically and two pieces of black to make it thicker, I then repeated and added a white bow to get to:
I would argue this doesn't count at a bling case, but that can be open to debate.
